Yesterday saw the 18th annual playing of the Horne Park Pro-Am, competing for the Paul Hurring Memorial Trophy. Despite the slightly overcast conditions, the golf course was in fantastic shape, proven by the incredible scoring. Former European Tour winner Jamie Spence and Tilgate’s Lea Cooper tied for 1st place with amazing scores of 62. Jamie said, ‘The golf course was in incredible condition, the best I have ever seen it. I am already looking forward to coming back and playing next year’. The team prize was also won Lea Cooper’s team with a score of 113. Mark Richecouer’s team including Horne Park members, Gavin & Kathy Lloyd and Robbie Haig, finished second on 114.
